Algida has organized a marketing campaign based on Pokemon Go to raise the brand awareness of its brand Cornetto. Therefore, Cornetto Go event took place at EUR park in Rome where Algida offered free lure modules for two days.

Alberto Carniel has interviewed Lorenzo Pasciuto, the global brand manager of Cornetto, and Silvia Mattei, the assistant brand manager of Cornetto and Magnum, to discover Cornetto’s backstage work and strategy for this event.

This is an innovative way to do marketing basing on video games. Pokemon Go has opened a world in marketing for all the companies which want to promote themselves by using this app.
